This summer, the Elite Landscaping Group, a Naperville landscaping company, took us to Six Flags for a picnic as a guest.  It is an annual celebration, and most of us are excited to visit the area. Whether you are part of the company outing or you want to visit the park, here are the following things that you should expect during your visit.

1. Start from the back to the front

Because the Six Flags located in Huntley IL in Chicago Suburbs is big, it is easy to get lost with the rides that will catch your attention. What we did was that we started from the back part of the park to the front. We manage to experience a lot of rides, and when we’re tired, later on, the front gate is near so we have saved both time and energy.

2. Bring a waterproof bag

This is what I learned when we went to the Six Flags park. Always bring a waterproof bag for your belongings. I always wanted to cool off in water rides, but I wasn’t able to do it because I am afraid some of my belongings (e.g., phone, car keys, wallet, paper bills) may come in contact with the water. Aside from that, I had difficulty in retrieving my items inside the bag simply because I couldn’t see it. Hence, for the next year that we’re bound to visit the Six Flags park, I’ll make sure to bring a waterproof bag this time.

3. Ensure the safety of your kids

I wasn’t able to bring my family that day we went to Six Flags park, but some of my workmates did. What they did was that they wrote their contact information in a small index card and stashed it inside the pockets of their kids. In that way, in case they get lost, someone will be able to contact them immediately. Aside from that, they taught their kids the way employees of the park are dressed so they could easily ask for help if they get lost.

4. Eat during non-traditional dining hours

We wanted to avoid the rush, so we decided to eat during non-traditional dining hours. We ate a little early for lunch, so we managed to avoid the mealtime rush when everyone is hungry and ready to eat. When we were done, the rides are almost deserted because everyone is eating and we got to enjoy it by ourselves. It was a pretty good tactic, and I’ll surely use it anywhere I travel from now on. It saved a lot of time and energy in the process, not to mention the convenience that it can offer.

Traveling to Six Flags park is one of the highlights of the year so far with a special thanks to Elite Landscaping Group for taking us as a guest.  We had a lot of a good time and even strengthen our bond in the process. Our head also told us that because of it, our productivity and engagement are improved.

Lying in between the American and Canadian borders are the mighty Niagara Falls. The sight of the falls along with the gushing sound of water flowing down the falls surely makes the adrenaline rush in the body. The Niagara Fall’s are a wonder of the world and really is the epitome of all what mother nature has to offer. The Maid of the Mist is a boat ride which takes you so close to the falls that you can feel the droplets of water on your body and at that point in time the gushing of water is so loud that almost everything else becomes inaudible. It really is a great experience.

But if boats are not your thing, then even that is okay as there are so many other ways to explore the falls and capture their majestic beauty. You can choose to Zipline over the falls, or even take a helicopter or plane ride around the falls. In addition to all these options, you even have the option to go on top of Skylon Tower from the Canadian side. This tower will give you a complete aerial view of the falls and you can even dine in at their revolving eatery. So basically, there is an option to please everyone.

Other than that, there are various other activities which can keep one and their fellow travelers entertained. These range from Museums, Botanical Gardens, Sky Wheel, Water Parks, Carnivals and even a Bird Kingdom.

And if all of this wasn’t enough, before you hit the sheets, make sure you take the view of the falls at night time and look at the spectacular firework display. They are a must watch for any tourist who is on a trip to the Niagara Falls.

So it doesn’t matter from which side you choose to view the falls from, the view is great from both sides and there is so much else to do on both sides, that you will fully enjoy your trip to the Niagara Falls.

Then how can one go to NYC and not go see Lady Liberty herself, just a short boat ride away from the harbor, you will find the Statue of Liberty. And as if that wasn’t enough, you can even catch a ride on ‘The Beast’ which is a speedboat which moves so fast that you can barely keep your eyes open, but it’s a great way to beat the sun if you are touring in the summers.

There is just so much to do in New York City, whether it’s posing with the bull on Wall Street, going to the amazing museums, watching a play on Broadway, or going to a performance in Madison Square Garden. Deciding on what to do is going to be a tough call, but whatever you do, you will surely end up enjoying a lot.
